How awesome is our God- with Him we can confidently say "I shall not be in want!" But he also gives us addirional, amazing gifts to enjoy, that lead us to worship Him in whom we are ultimately satisfied. I heard on Christian radio the other day that "cravings aren't evil in and of themselves.. God gave them to us to help us to understand the need to crave Him, and to understand a "taste" of what yearning after him feels like." (paraphrase!!) After craving something physical, there is joy in partaking of the thing craved. How much more joy when we hunger after the Lord and are filled (but never full) in His presence!! :) :) [presence as in relational intimacy with the Lord, since the essence of his being is everywhere. Mind blowing!]
So also.. I wanted to create this post to say how thankful I am for going out to eat with Kally, Katie, and Celestine tonight. We went to Old Country Buffet, and my favorite part was my desert. I thiiiink you can guess what it is.. ; D
